The HLA Group provided land planning, open space planning and community design for a 703-acre master planned community in the City of Lincoln. Using a village concept as the backbone for development, the Nader Property is planned using smart growth principles with a focus on new urbanist design ideals. Access to open space, compact housing, the reduction of building footprints, the preservation of wetland environments, and improved walkability are the hallmarks of the community design. The Nader Property is unique in its provision of higher density housing options with a mix of lot sizes and homes catering to a broad cross section of future residents. Alley access homes, town homes, cluster homes, and condominium-style homes are integrated in village environments along with traditional single-family homes.
