The project showcases the Central Valley's first large-scale rainwater harvesting system for landscape irrigation and lavatory flushing. The landscaping features a juxtaposition of native grasses and an array of adapted and native plant material that reflects traditional agrarian patterns. The project is a prominent LEED-Platinum Certified project within the University of California school system.
