Woodbridge by Del Webb is an active adult community for those 55 and better. The HLA Group designed and developed an overall landscape master plan for streetscapes, the community and recreation center, and entry monumentation for the community. Recreation and active spaces are a major component of the community and are designed to fit the needs of active-adult residents and their families. At the center is of the community is the multi-use recreation center which features a pool, outdoor fireplace and patios, various trellises, and on-site parking. Adjacent to the community center are tennis courts, a small-scale golf putting course, softball field, bocce and basketball courts, and man-made lake. Although the lake is beautiful, it also improves water quality on site and provides water for irrigation of public spaces.
